Tutorial: How To Delete Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016 Key

Some time you uninstalled Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016 or you use backup windows key software but the serial number or key still existed on your Wiindows. To remove permanently this Office key you just need to do several steps that not very difficult.

Here steps that you need to follow:

1. Open DOS command prompt as Administrator

   On Windows 10

   Windows Key + X => Command Prompt (Administrator)

2. Get List Last Five Digit Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016

   Microsoft Office 2013

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 32-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

   • Office 2016 (64-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

   Microsoft Office 2016

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 32-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

   • Office 2016 (64-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

3. Delete Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016 Key That You Desired

    From the list 5 digit key above, you can choose Microsoft Office key that you want to delete

   Microsoft Office 2013

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 32-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:

   • Office 2016 (64-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:

   Microsoft Office 2016

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 32-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:

   • Office 2016 (32-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:

   • Office 2016 (64-bit) on a 64-bit version of Windows

     cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:

Simple is it. You can only need 3 steps to delete the key but if you have last 5 digit key that you want to delete just pass step two and go to step 3. Go try your self and deleted wasted key and use its to another windows pc.
